About the Chamber: Services
The Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce supports both the community and its business world through a wide range of services.
Neighborhood improvement. We help keep Hyde Park beautiful by working on sidewalk repair, landscaping, street lighting, holiday decorations, and more.
Business referrals. Each year, the Chamber publishes a comprehensive business directory that helps visitors and residents navigate our neighborhood—and offers publicity to member businesses. The online version of the directory is regularly updated.
Events. Chamber members benefit from seminars and workshops on topics such as writing a business plan, reading financial statements, and running a real estate business. They also make valuable connections at monthly networking events.
Communication facilitation. The Chamber acts as a liaison between our members and the City of Chicago. We can help you navigate issues concerning city or ward services and more.

New Disability Rights Regulations in Public Accommodations
Effective July 1, 2017, the Chicago Commission on Human Relations (CCHR) Board of Commissioners approved updated disability rights regulations under the City's Chicago Human Rights Ordinance (CHRO). These newly revised regulations, are designed to improve citywide accessibility for all residents and visitors through added clarity to existing disability protections. These changes will, in turn, help businesses make their goods and services more accessible for people with all types of disabilities.
